Shipt: Saving Moms One Delivery at a Time

This post is in partnership with Shipt. Several of our team members use the service regularly, so we're big fans! This is sponsored content.

We’ve all been there before. Those unexpected sleepless, stormy nights that turn into a day of school cancellations and a full house of children. Your to-do list is thrown to the wayside as you’re now entertaining littles. The last thing you want to do is load up the minivan to attempt your shopping list with kids in tow. Enter Shipt!

Shipt: Saving Moms One Delivery at a TimeShipt is a membership-based grocery marketplace, enabling delivery of fresh foods and household essentials.

As a mom of triplets, I’ve used Shipt many times to save my sanity, not to mention the blessing they were to us during the days of Coronavirus quarantine. I only wish I’d known about them sooner!

How Shipt Works

Simply access the Shipt app on your phone then choose the store where you’d like a Shipt Shopper to do your shopping. Add the items you need to your cart, choose the delivery window that works best for you, checkout, and you’re done! Now enjoy maximizing your time while Shipt does the hard work for you and brings your delivery right to your doorstep.

Shipt: Saving Moms One Delivery at a TimeWhat to Expect

Shipt aims to make their shopping a personal experience for you. Expect to receive updates and communication throughout the shopping process. Busy working mama with no time for texting? No worries. There are options for less communication as well. They truly strive to simplify life for you and have thought of everything. This includes the option for special requests in case you can’t find what you need in the app. I’ve even had a friend request a fountain drink. There’s no request too small!Shipt: Saving Moms One Delivery at a Time

Why Shipt?

While there are certainly more delivery service options in our current Coronavirus reality, Shipt is the one I will choose over and over again. Their shoppers really care about personalizing your experience and getting your order correct. I like that I can fit Shipt into my schedule rather than scheduling around them. I can set up an order in advance for delivery at a later time frame. They continue to expand the stores they partner with and work with many of my favorite shopping spots. Finally, they’re budget friendly. Many of my friends have expressed saving money by avoiding impulse shopping from being in the store themselves.

Birmingham Mom Collective highly recommends Shipt, and we are thrilled that this awesome company began right here in the Magic City!

Stacey grew up in Birmingham and being the homebody she is, decided to stay and attend college at Samford University where she earned a degree in elementary education. She always dreamed of being a SAHM, but never imagined she'd be using her classroom management savvy to help raise BGG triplets. She met her husband, Jonathan, at the dear age of five, but it took them 20 more years and lots of different paths to realize they were meant for each other. A major planner at heart, Stacey is learning that some of the best things in life come in the unexpected. She and her husband currently live in Bluff Park and enjoy the unique challenges that their exciting family life brings. When she does get time to herself, Stacey enjoys exercise-especially Zumba, chai lattes, pedicures, a good book, and quality time with friends.
