Spring is right around the corner which means . . . Easter is on its way! Even though most Birmingham Easter egg hunts were cancelled last year due to the pandemic, many are back this year and better than ever!

WHEN: March 29 – April 4

WHAT: Download an egg to hang, and go hunting other eggs in Birmingham.

City of Trussville Drive Thru Easter Egg Hunt

WHEN: Saturday, March 13th at 11:00 a.m.

COST: Free

WHAT: This year’s COVID-safe drive thru hunt will be in the back behind the church. Enter the drive thru from their North Chalkville Road parking area and proceed toward the back. It’s first come first serve, so you’ll want to arrive early!

Homewood Parks Easter Egg Hunt

WHEN: Saturday, March 27th, time TBD (stay tuned!)

COST: Free

WHAT: The Homewood Parks Easter egg hunt is back this year at the Homewood Athletic Complex–Upper Baseball/Softball Fields and is for ages eight years and younger. Children will hunt for eggs with children of their own age group. Don’t forget your mask as all participants and spectators will be required to wear one!

WHEN: Saturday, March 27th at 1:00 p.m.

COST: Free

WHAT: Don’t miss this annual family-friendly event hosted by FBC Pinson at the Pinson Bicentennial Park!

Mountain Brook Contactless Easter Egg Hunt

WHEN: Friday, April 2nd through Sunday, April 4th

COST: Free

WHAT: This year’s Easter egg hunt can be done while walking or driving through Mountain Brook’s three villages during Easter weekend. Enjoy the merchants’ spring windowfronts, and if you spot a golden egg, email [email protected] for the chance to win a golden prize. We did this last year and used our golden prize money at the ice cream shop! Yum yum!

Helena Hollow Food Truck Egg-stravaganza

WHEN: Saturday, April 3rd, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

COST: $5 entry per person at the gate, those under age two are free!

WHAT: Join Helena Hollow for its first annual Egg-stravaganza featuring food trucks, live music, the Easter Bunny, vendors, and much more! The Easter egg hunt begins at 3:00 p.m.

Easter at Honeywood Valley in Sterrett

WHEN: Saturday, April 3, 2021, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

COST: Children under 12 are free, $25 per adult

WHAT: Join Honeywood Valley for a day of Easter fun! There will be photos with the Easter Bunny, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, face painting, and so much more! The Easter egg hunt starts at 1:30 p.m. And don’t miss the delicious boxed lunch options for an additional fee!

WHEN: Saturday, April 3rd, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon

COST: Free

WHAT: Come for an Easter egg hunt for ages ten and under, with supervision from parents. Bring your wallet and your appetite, too, since the Heavenly Donuts Food Truck will also be there!

  1. New Beginning Christian Ministry Egg hunt April 20, 2019 at 2pm-4pm. 501 mountain drive Birmingham al. Cost is free, there will be a golden egg for all age groups! Free food, magic city Snowball will be there and local vendors to get you ready for Easter! Food Family Fun!
