Fall Park Hop Presenting Sponsor

Join us for a playdate at Lee Springs Park! It’s located at the entrance to the Hillsboro neighborhood in Helena. After pulling into the parking area, you’ll see the playground nestled away in the trees (which provide wonderful shade on sunny days!). The play structures were designed to have a natural look, and it definitely feels like a little nature getaway.

Location: Just past Hillsboro Pkwy & Appleford Rd, Helena, AL 35080

Coffee and Snacks Sponsored by: Chick-Fil-A Helena

Join us for a playdate at Homewood Central Park! It’s located on Oxmoor Road and is Homewood’s go-to park. A fenced in playground plus a huge open field, picnic pavilions, and amphitheater make this park a great meetup spot and one that tends to get a lot of attention from external events too.

Location: 1632 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL 35209

Coffee and snacks sponsored by: Hero Doughnuts
Snacks, waters, and giveaway sponsored by: Target Homewood
Free gift sponsored by: MYRAINBERRY Organic Spa and Skincare :: Travel size shampoo bar for the first 30 adults.

Join us for a playdate at the City Walk BHAM Playground! It’s part of the larger City Walk BHAM initiative, which has transformed Birmingham’s I-59/20 corridor into a unique environment aimed at reconnecting the city. The playground includes a parking lot with free, off-street parking, and a wide variety of playground equipment and climbing structures for kids of all ages.

Location: Under the I-59/20 Bridges between 24th St. N & 25th St. N

Kristina W
Kristina was BMC's Social Media Manager for just over a year beginning in 2022, and also managed the BMC Calendar and Event Guides. In August 2023, she began tutoring her oldest son's class in a Classical Conversations Homeschool Community, but is excited to be back with BMC as a contributing writer! Kristina was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and moved to the Birmingham area at the end of 2019. She and her husband, Landon, always dreamed of one day owning land and living out in the country (especially after having two active little boys!). In 2023, they were blessed with the opportunity to purchase some acreage in Central Alabama, and have slowly begun working on their future homestead. In the meantime, Kristina has worked on learning various homesteading skills like baking sourdough, keeping various ferments alive, seed starting, and more! She loves sharing what she's learned in hopes of inspiring other moms to try out new skills. You can follow along with her homesteading adventures on Instagram at @raisingarrowsfarmstead
