LPCD TeamWe love partnering with Liberty Park Children’s Dentistry, and it’s no surprise why! The kid-friendly atmosphere, dedication to serving those in need, and desire to welcome patients of all backgrounds are just a few things that set them apart. As is often the case, it’s the people behind LPCD who make the experience. Today, we are thrilled to get the inside scoop on this incredible team!

Dr. Quyen: I am married to my husband Yedeh, and we have 2 boys (ages 8 and 10). While he loves outdoor adventures, I am a homebody at heart, but both of us enjoy food. We will travel for good eats! We love to travel with our children and share experiences with them. I love being a mom boss and a pediatric dentist. My patients make me a better mom and my children help me to be a more empathetic dentist. I am bilingual and can speak both English and Vietnamese. I am so grateful for my supportive team at LPCD. I cannot wait to celebrate our 5 year anniversary next year and continue to grow with my team!

Daysi: My name is Daysi, and I am the Patient Care Coordinator for Liberty Park Children’s Dentistry. I love being the first person patients and parents see because I love seeing our patients’ smiles and the excitement in their eyes when they come in. We get some anxious kids at times, especially first-timers, but I love cheering them on and letting them know that their experience here will be fun! I have a wonderful husband, Rich, and amazing step-son, Porter. In my free time I love reading a good book and drinking a cup of coffee! Can’t wait to meet your family! 😊

Haley: Hi! My name is Haley Boatwright, and I am one of Dr. Quyen’s dental assistants. I am a North Alabama native and have lived in Homewood for about six years. I have five beautiful kids, and I love spending time with them on my off days. We enjoy hanging out and watching movies. My favorite thing about working at Liberty Park Children’s Dentistry is getting to interact with all the kids and teens. We have so much fun and learn so many new things each day. The patients and their families definitely make me love my job even more.

Angie: Hi! My name Angie Nicole Rivera. I am a dental assistant at Liberty Park Children’s Dentistry, and I also assist Dr. Quyen in the OR at Children’s of Alabama. I am from Atlanta, GA and I am the oldest of four. I love traveling around the world, watching movies and spending time with family and friends. I am bilingual, so I’m able to help both our English and Spanish speaking families. What I love about being a dental assistant at LPCD is helping our patients build their confidence and lessen their worries about coming to see the dentist and making things fun with our kid-friendly tools and flavors. I love helping them establish good oral health care habits that can last a lifetime.

Kimberly: My name is Kimberly. I am a dental assistant at Liberty Park Children’s Dentistry. I also assist Dr. Quyen in the OR of Children’s of Alabama. I have two brothers and I am the middle child and only girl. I love to shop and explore new places. I have two nieces and two nephews whom I adore. I love them just like my own. My favorite part of working at LPCD is that I have found a new home. My coworkers and I all get along and we make a great team. We love all of our patients and make sure to take good care of them. Our dental office offers a kid-friendly atmosphere, where each child is welcomed as a new friend and cared for as family. We work to minimize anxiety and maintain a trusting environment so that kids feel secure and at home. This sets a foundation for a lifetime of good oral health.
