Celebrate the vibrant traditions of African cultures and the Birmingham Museum of Art’s African art galleries with the return of the African Heritage Festival sponsored by Medical Properties Trust. This family-oriented festival will feature a day filled with food, games, dance, and music — African Djembe Drums Art Activity, Sahi On Ko Djony West African Dance and Drumming Experience, Jamaican Folk Music Workshop with Steve Higgins, DIY Mancala Game, and food tastings and food trucks.
