Elizabeth has wandering in her blood so when she moved to Birmingham to attend Samford University, it was only supposed to be a discipline in passing through. Eighteen years later, she's settled into this state she now happily calls home. Elizabeth met Jeff while coaching gymnastics; they married in 2002. After struggling through long seasons of infertility, they were blessed with four children in six years: Ethan, Mason, Silja (“Seel-yuh”), and Anja (“On-yuh”). Elizabeth is a Christ-following, homeschool mama who manages a three-ring circus of controlled chaos while Jeff is a Physician Assistant at UAB’s Trauma and Burn ICU. Together, they lead a small group at The Church at Brook Hills on Sunday mornings. As a family, they enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, and traveling...exploring all the lovely places of this great big world. Elizabeth also takes taekwondo and delights in writing, photography, great books, chai tea lattes...and pizza.
